A MORE CONSIDERED COLLECTION
A road-going edition, a racing machine and an experimental prototype can tell very different stories. Follow the type that interests you, then use rarity and production context to narrow the collection.
THE COLLECTION
1,855 profiles
Lamborghini 1968
The 1968 Lamborghini Miura Roadster is an open-body interpretation with its own physical identity. Its blue body and roofless cabin make a striking companion to the Miura coupes, while the archive preserves…
Lotus 1968
The Lotus Elan S4 drophead keeps the compact open road-car idea within a defined fourth-series scope. Its Type 45 identity separates it from the earlier Type 36 fixed-head programme already covered in…
Lotus 1968
The Lotus Seven Series 3 develops the open roadster before the shape changed more substantially with the S4. Its original Lotus-built series remains separate from later Caterham production.
Lotus 1968
The Lotus Type 56 explores a gas turbine and four-wheel drive within a wedge-shaped Indianapolis car. Its 1968 oval programme remains distinct from the later Formula One 56B branch.
Lotus 1968
The Lotus Type 58 records a tested development branch rather than a Formula Two production racer. Its primary design description and later demonstration photograph keep the experiment physically grounded.
Mazda 1968
The Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S Series II continued the original twin-rotor sports car in its later L10B form. Its 1968 programme reference separates the revised series from the early L10A. A creator-identified…
Porsche 1968
The Porsche 909 Bergspyder reduced the hill-climb prototype to an extreme lightweight experiment. Introduced in 1968, it combined a small flat-eight engine with a body and chassis package designed around short uphill…
Rolls-Royce 1968
The Rolls-Royce Phantom VI kept traditional body-on-chassis coachbuilding alive into an era otherwise dominated by unitary construction. Its long life, formal passenger compartment and exceptionally small output make it a different proposition…
Fiat 1969
The Fiat Dino Spider 2400 continued the original open-body programme with a larger engine and revised rear-suspension architecture.
Lamborghini 1969
The Lamborghini Islero S gives the restrained GT family a distinct final derivative. Its visible front-wing openings and matched source identity help the collection keep it separate from the earlier Islero.
Lotus 1969
The Lotus Seven Series 4 reinterprets the exposed, compact Seven as a visibly different composite-bodied roadster. Its Type 60 designation and maker-reported 625-car reference give the Lotus-built programme a clear boundary before…
Lotus 1969
The Lotus Type 59 belongs to more than one small Formula category. Its 1969 family record and modern racing photograph are kept distinct from a universal engine specification or an invented complete…
THE RARITY RIDES STANDARD
A limited offer is not automatically a completed-production total. A surviving vehicle is not a complete factory census. We keep those distinctions visible and link each collection back to the individual profile’s evidence.
