The US 2024 Nissan Z Heritage Edition combined the current Performance model with New Sight Orange paint and a distinctive S30-inspired front treatment. Announced in June 2024, it marked fifty-five years of Z history. This is a separately documented programme from the older Z34 Heritage package. Its factory design changes and equipment are verified here, while the absence of a published numerical allocation is kept explicit.

Fifty-five years of the Z

Nissan connected the edition with the original S30 generation, using its long-running sports-car identity as a design reference. The anniversary belongs to 2024 and the RZ34 programme, rather than the earlier 370Z Heritage package already covered in Batch 03. A shared Heritage name does not establish one continuous edition across different generations. The manufacturer announcement provides the necessary date, market and model boundary.

A new face with an older reference

The front fascia uses rectangular grille openings that recall the early Z. Fender extensions and dedicated nineteen-inch wheels reinforce the visual distinction from a standard Performance car. These are coordinated factory elements, not proof that every modified RZ34 with a similar grille is a Heritage Edition. Original build and order documentation should connect the visible parts to the particular vehicle. The design reference concerns the early car’s visual language. It does not mean that the RZ34 shares an S30 chassis, suspension layout or original engine. Those generations remain distinct in both technical description and historical provenance.

Orange paint and black graphics

New Sight Orange paint is paired with black bonnet and body-side graphics and special exterior emblems. The resulting presentation deliberately uses colour and proportion to evoke an earlier period. Later repainting, replacement decals or an aftermarket body kit should be recorded as changes to an individual example. A photograph can illustrate the factory scheme without authenticating the provenance of every similarly coloured car.

Performance-model engineering underneath

The edition retains the Performance model's three-litre twin-turbo V6, rated at 400 hp in the US specification. Nissan offered the six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic, so the special exterior treatment should not be used to infer a single transmission. Nor should the higher output and automatic-only configuration of the Z NISMO be copied into this edition's specification table.

A defined edition without an invented total

The dated US release establishes a factory Heritage Edition and its original equipment. It does not provide an audited numerical completed total in the selected records. Keep the distinction between a special edition's identity and a verified production census. For a customer example, preserve its model-year, order code, transmission, colour specification and subsequent repair history rather than relying on a retrospective estimate of rarity.
