Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini

The Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini introduced the two brands’ motorcycle collaboration through a numbered 630-bike series announced in 2020. Inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, it used the Diavel 1260 S as its foundation for the 2021 range. The shared design language is central to the edition’s identity.

Design and engineering

Gea Green bodywork and Electrum Gold details mirror the car’s presentation. Dedicated forged wheels, redesigned intake and radiator-cover shapes, and extensive carbon-fibre details translate the inspiration into a motorcycle. The Diavel remains a Ducati twin-cylinder machine. The Sián’s hybrid powertrain and performance figures should not be transferred to the motorcycle simply because the two share design cues.

Production and edition scope

The limit is 630 for this Diavel programme. The number refers to Lamborghini’s 1963 founding year multiplied by ten. The car’s 63-unit figure is a different production scope. No additional 63-bike Speciale Clienti allocation is established for this Diavel; that arrangement belongs to later Ducati–Lamborghini motorcycle collaborations.

Identifying an authentic example

Match the numbered identification and chassis record to original delivery paperwork. Compare bodywork, wheels and finishes with the correct 1260 Lamborghini specification. Distinguish a factory motorcycle from a regular Diavel repainted in matching colours. A photograph alongside a Lamborghini provides display context, not proof that the motorcycle was factory-matched to that particular car.

Collector significance

The edition established a design partnership that subsequently moved to other Ducati platforms. Its collection story is clearest when the original Diavel programme remains separate from those later editions. Preserved finishes, original parts and a transparent service file provide the detail needed to understand a particular example beyond the familiar Lamborghini name.
