Design and engineering

White, black and red bodywork pairs with gold wheels. Ducati introduced DTC EVO and DWC EVO control strategies on this edition, alongside changes to steering-head inserts and selected lightweight components. The Superquadro twin remains the engineering foundation. A supplied titanium racing exhaust belongs to the accompanying circuit kit and should be recorded separately from the motorcycle’s road configuration.

Production and edition scope

Five hundred is the factory-announced edition limit, reflected in the laser-etched top triple clamp. It applies to the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario, not to the 1299 Superleggera or the subsequent Panigale R Final Edition. A commemorative colour scheme shared with another Ducati does not combine their production scopes. Individual build and registration dates should follow the example’s documents.

Identifying an authentic example

Verify the clamp identification, chassis record and original dealer invoice together. Compare the steering-head equipment, wheels, bodywork and electronics with the anniversary specification. Inventory the supplied race kit and charger where present. Replacement exhausts, repainted panels and updated software should be documented without presenting later changes as proof of the original edition.

Collector significance

The Anniversario is significant because its celebration included technical development as well as appearance. For a collector, the most informative record links the numbered factory motorcycle to its original component package. That makes it possible to distinguish a complete edition from a standard Panigale wearing similar colours, and to understand what has changed during ownership.
