Our editorial process separates documented facts, attributed claims and interpretation. Every public profile should give readers a useful path back to its evidence.
Research and attribution
We prioritize manufacturer documentation, period publications, homologation and registration records, auction catalogues with supporting documents, museum collections and direct statements from relevant experts. Secondary reporting can add context but does not automatically verify a production count or provenance claim.
Production figures and rarity
We distinguish a confirmed number from an estimate, a planned allocation and a reported total. Figures may differ by model year, market, body style or counting method. When credible records conflict, we explain the disagreement instead of presenting a false certainty.
Editorial review
Editors check names, dates, specifications, units, source links, image permissions and internal relationships before approving a vehicle profile for indexing. Publication is a starting point for ongoing corrections, not a claim that the record can never change.
Independence
Commercial relationships must not determine factual conclusions, inclusion, rarity assessments or the handling of corrections. Any sponsored content or affiliate relationship should be clearly identified where it appears.
Corrections
We review specific, evidence-backed corrections, update affected pages where warranted and retain a clear record of material changes. See our Corrections page for the process.
